    Automatic Feeding Devices

The juwel can be fitted on any tank if you cut a hole in the hood. It comes with the adaptor that fits in the hood.

    Possibly A Swim Bladder Problem

Hi, I have heard that flake food can have this effect, as it swells up after being eaten. Have you tried feeding thawed and shelled frozen pees? It usually has a good effect with buoyancy problems. You could also try pre-soaking the flakes. I've tried pellets as an alternative regular diet, but...

    Help Me Please! Im Desperate!

Maybe if you could get it in a tuppaware container and let it float in the tank, you could keep changing the water and feed it the appropriate diet :dunno:

    Change To Api

I'm using the API master test kit after reading that most people use these. I'm not that impressed with it i must say. Apart from the leaky caps on the tubes there are also other issues. The Nitrate test is widely regarded as inacurate, and a pain to use. The ph system of two range tests could...

New Tank And Starting To Cycle It...with Fish

Thats good news. You may well be cycled for those 4 fish, but when you put more stock in you will have a mini cycle until the bacteria build up again. If you have cycled in 12 days as it seems, that product has helped, I would say. Keep testing, and if you go 7 days with zero readings it's cycled.

    Pregnant Platy Emergancy

Probably just pregnant, they usually are, at different stages. We got 7 a few weeks ago, within no time we had 2 give birth and now have about 20 little fry in their own tank. They can also have more than one pregnancy from a single mating.

    Neon Tetra Help

You could isolate the pregnant fish in a net or floating breeding tank or do the same with the agressive individual maybe :dunno:

First Time Tank - Ammonia, Nitrite And Nitrate After 2 Days, But From

Hi, your readings seem to indicate your cycle is progressing. As you have increased nitrites, this must mean your ammonia is being processed by something, into nitrite. These quick start products are regularly rubbished, but i'm begining to believe they do what they say. As you have not added...

Houston We Have A Problem...fish Dying...

Hard to say without your water stats. But suspect water quality could be an issue. Adding macros- micros- algae treatment could be involved? I had 4 danios as my first fish, loosing one and another injured after them being trapped in a plastic plant. When i got them i didn't realise they do...

    Help

Sorry you lost your fish, don't blame yourself. You have good water quality and made a good chioce to fishless cycle. I had 4 danios as my first fish, loosing one and another injured after being trapped in a plastic plant. When i got them i didn't realise they do better in cooler water, around...

New Tank And Starting To Cycle It...with Fish

That's just what you should expect to see, except it would have taken weeks without the Tetrastart!!!! Looks like you're well on the way with the cycle now. You will need to keep up your water changes to keep the Nitrite below 0.25ppm, as it will more than likely increase rapidly until the...

    Transferring To A Bigger Tank

If you could remove the exixting filter sponges and squeeze them out into the new filter. The actual sponges hardly ever need renewing, just clean filter sponges by rinsing them in some removed tank water when cleaning the tank or doing water changes. This only needs doing when the flow is...
