I got my first fish yesterday (6neons and a peppered cat) to cycle my 338 tank, i put an alge tablet in and it dissapered over night, so are catfish nocternnal eaters?, also my neons seem to be hanging round the bottom more then anywhere else. my neons didnt come up to feed this morning as...

i no this will sound stupid and all but how do you cycle a tank properly, my amonea and nitrate are at 0 which is good and my ph is 7.5. should i use a betta to cycle or not, cos i hav no idea what to do :thumbs:

i dont know what u should use, as long as you clean the tank out really good after good luck cleaning

how many of you out there keep feeder fish. i think that it is a disgusting thing to do, imagine keeping fish so that you can kill them.

i agree. it sucks when you lose a fish. espesially if youvenamed them or had them for awhile.

id say a peppered cory. cool tail on him though
