Ok once my tank cycled I introduced 8 tiger barbs checked water tonight Nitrate was 80!!!!!!! did 10% water change and it went down to 20 still to high cant do any more changes as I cant get any more water conditioner till tomorrow and by then I rekon I am going to have dead tiger barbs any...

Ok I get the drift that is why I posted the thread to find out what are the best tank mates for them

Going to get 3 green tiger barbs tomorrow to bring them up to 8 then leave a week and probably get some neons

Got a juwel 120 that has now finally finished cycling and is now home to 5 tiger barbs yes I know there reputation but I love em :rolleyes: They have settled in well 8 hours in hiding but have been out to feed and are starting to get adventurous so bearing in mind there fin nipping reputation...
