Yeah, it's not a long tank, it's like a tall cube shape.

Dimensions are 45 cm width x 40 depth x 50cm height.

Thank you for all the replies, it's given me some things to think about. I was thinking a school of Ember tetra, perhaps 10-12, and 6 pygmy corydoras or another small cory breed if compatible.

I went for another visit today, they are a yellow/green/pale coloured rasbora called microrasbora kubotai. I preferred the look of the embers personally. A fish store nearby have got a stock of Ember tetras and extremely miniature rasboras of some kind (didn't make a note of the name). This is the first time I've seen them. What do you think, Kitty Kat? (Or anyone! :))

I wouldn't put in angelfish or the shark, they need a bigger tank I believe. Small corydoras catfish and guppies will be fine though.
