They had both shallow and deep water in there. I'm looking at a map turtle next... Perhaps... Got my tank up for sale for now though - if I get a buyer before I buy another turtle so be it!

Only way you can keep crays and fish is in a BIG tank (I mean a BIIIIIG tank!), and have fish that are 'ard as nails, (but not too hard that they eat crays for breakfast... without even adding milk...). You're always gonna get conflict with aggressive predators dude.

I would dispute that about petshops buying dogs from respected breeders. A shop near me often gets batches of puppies in, from several breeders including local farms. The pubs are always in excellent condition, with papers and the breeders frequently are there too to ask questions of. That said...

A cuppa is Britspeak for a hot beverage of whatever you like, and a choco bicsuit is just a chocolate biscuit, though you don't call them biscuits over there you call them cookies!

There are a few ways we get round it, using light filters etc. You struggle with such a broad spectrum though that no one way would work too well :(
