Great pic. Im curious how you condition them to respond to the stick? Do you present the stick to them each time you present another fish so that in time they associate the stick alone as a threat?

It depends on where they came from. I wouldnt put them in brackish water if they have been living in and are used to salt free water. Mollies do need some salt to thrive, but I would start by gradually adding a small amount of aquarium salt over time to get them used to it without shocking them.

Im interested in this also. I just purchased a male Balloon Molly that I put in with my two females..1 fem Lyretail and 1 fem Marble. The person at the lfs said each variety can interbreed, but I would love to hear feedback from some knowlegable people here.
