I'm starting a new tank but not new to the hobby. I want to do live plant's in it. The tank is 36 wide 15 deep 20tall it's a uniquarium. I have so many questions from what kind of substrate to use to what plants as a beginner.

Just wanted to say hi. I'm not new to the hobby but getting back into it. Hopping to set up what I think is a 40galon uniquarium. I've chosen to go fresh water as salt is to expensive for me. I want to set this tank up with live plant's. I have never done live plants, hopping someone here can...
