Replying for anyone coming to this post in future, I have the 15L BiOrb, I've found that it is actually fine for shrimp, they enjoy climbing into the filter to eat off the sponges, however you can't breed shrimp in it (that's the case for many filter types tho). I wouldn't recommend BiOrb for...
