I take off the cotton bits before i plant my plants, i have no broken plants, they are all doing very well, suprising really for my first attempt!!! It's not really bad just a bit annoying seeing these very very small particles floating about!!! Maybe it's me being to picky?

Have you tried Southern Aquatics in Christchurch mate? I go there and they stock Tropica plants, very helpful staff as well.

The fish were not bloated up though one of the yellow ones was for a few weeks before but i think it was pregnant rather than bloated, it just sat at the bottom of the tank not really moving much. I feed them Tetra Pro flake food and frozen food twice a week. They don't seem darker in colour...

There has been no aggression it's a very peaceful tank, Honey Gouramis, Neon Tetras, Rose Tetras, Blue rainbows, Pearl and Zebra Danios.

I'm still new to fishkeeping myself but i have a couple of Bristlenose Plecs who love there algae !!! and live in perfect harmony with my Tetras, i have neon tetras, rose tetras and Penguin tetras and never had any issues with them at all. Hope that helps.

Yeah i guess the little fella is probably dead, just wish i could find him so as not to pollute the water to much, though if the rest of the fish have eaten him i guess that would eliminate the chance of water pollution.

I bought three lovely Black Mollies at tthe weekend to add to my community setup which is now fully stocked. The problem i have is one of my black mollies has gone missing!!! I can't find it anywhere!!! I've looked in every part of the tank, in the plants, round the back of the filter etc etc...
