I have no idea what type of plants they are, I have one thats like thick weed and grows in long strands that look like christmas tree branches and then one with a central stalk and green and pink long thin leaves. I thought that they were aquatic plants but perhaps the are not, how would I know?

Hi All My plants never seem to last very long in my tank. They tend to just fall apart and die. I currently add nothing to te water that is specifically for plants. Would appreciate any advice on how to keep my aquarium plants alive. Thanks Emma
