Is this a bubble nest ? I have only had my male Betta for three days so just wondering what it is ?

I got a new tank and stand for only £80 and have decided to try marine fish for the first time I am a complete newbie so I’ve joined reef2reef forum for help with my marine tank Ibe wanted a marine aquarium since I was like 6 or 7

Ok so I have gotten some fish for the tank today and a moss ball I plan on adding plants soon aswell here they are there is a little algae in there at the minute but going to take that out soon aswell :)

I don’t know I just woke up to see a fish lying on the gravel and I panicked a bit but all of the other fish are still fine

Ok so the fish is STILL alive in the jug with some salt I feel really cruel at this point is it just kinder to euthanise it ?:(

Ok thank you I Have just tested my water with the master test kit and it reads Ammonia : 0 ( maybe 0.1 ppm over but most likely 0) Nitrite : 0 Nitrate : 5 ppm - 10ppm
