Shrimps are very sensitive to ammonia and nitrates. If they are high you can be poisoning the shrimp. It could also be that it is going to molt.

The bladders are so small I doubt it will catch your baby shrimp. I'm setting up a tank at work that will have Cherry Shrimp in it. I will also be adding my carnivorous plants to that tank as well.

Looks like Utricularia gibba, which is a carnivorous plant. I have that plus several other aquatic Utricularia growing in my tank since I also grow many carnivorous plants.

So I did inspire you to go to Ricketts Glen. Nice shots. I'm going to go back early next year when more water will be flowing from the snow melt off.

Thanks for the comments. If you did not see the other's I got a few weeks ago that I posted in the non fish potographs... These are just babies and get 10-12" long and lost the bands and getblack spots on them. Several years ago I was breeding them. Here's a picture of one of my females...

I picked up 2 more Leopard Geckos from the reptile show today. This was the first time I ever went to this particular show. Venders were able to sell venomous animals. There was many rattlers, copperheads, other vipers, and Gila Monsters. I got a Bell Albino LG. And a Patternless LG.

I lug around my good old heavy Bogen tripod. I have looked into carbon fiber tripods many times and end up lugging around the old one. tekknocolor, I believe the snake is a Garter Snake with dark coloration. BlueIce, Have fun.

Pellet food should be soaked in water before feeding discus. I have read about too many people getting bloated discus when feeding pellets. People have lost fish from it.
