    Sorry for the month-long break, but I wanted to want to check you in on how the 148.6L tank is going this month. The tank is fine at the moment (the ambulia is rotting away which is unfortunate), but I will talk through how things are going in it very soon...

    Silvertip tetra with bulging eyes

    I try to do water changes with the gravel vac every two weeks or a month (depending on my work load because I'm currently studying at art college). I feed them once a day, sometimes twice, a mix of pellets and flakes, and the occasional frozen/live foods.

    I've been feeding the fry live baby brine shrimp and microworms for the last couple of days to keep it healthy. The adult tetras also prefer live foods as it sometimes trigger the breeding process (it has happened before with live blackworms) more frequently than dry foods (flakes and pellets).
