Thank u so much!! This is actually helpfull for other diseases as well so I'll keep a screenshot of the directions!! I think I am seeing some improvement so i'll keep up with the botanical treatment for a couple of days and maybe I'll start the salt on the weekend to make sure he'll heal. This...

    Fin rot treatment

The ingredients are botanical (idk what exacltly) and it also contains vitamin C. I haven't noticed any fin biting but I do have lava rocks and he may have caught them there. However the changes happened within a month not one day. I'm thinking of completing the brightwell aquatics treatment and...

    Fin rot treatment

Hello! My crown tail betta Kaiba seems to be having fin rot problems. I've been treating with the "brightwell aquatics fish recovery" for 5 days now. Directions say I can use the product for more than a week if needed. Should I keep using this or change to "bettafix" or any other treatment? I...

    Which type of snail?

Damn, that is one hungry betta XD. No but seriously I know they'll eat anything. Mine ate all the detritus worms from the plants. The nerites I think are the most difficult to keep, especially in ph lower than 7.5 so they are not my ideal solution as sb mentioned above. I started looking at...

    Which type of snail?

Thank you, I read that nerites would survive lower ph that's why I was considering them. I'm conserned about ramshorns as they are able to reproduce asexualy and in freshwater and I would not like to have an infestation..

    Which type of snail?

I have a 5g betta tank and I'm thinking of adding one snail to help with the algae and for decor. My PH is at around 6.5 , GH around 8 and KH around 4 (I use test stripes). Any ideas which type of snail would be okay in these conditions and eat some algae? I'm leaning towards a nerite to be...

    Tank sizes?

No, we were talking about a filtered 2.5g tank, not jar or bowl. But IMO, 2.5 is quite small as a size in general. Still 100% better than an unfiltered jar, but not the best option. It can easily house some cherry shrimp alone maybe.

    Tank sizes?

Thank u for the responces. I think about 4-5g is the minimum. If it has enough plants, maaybe 3.5. But still in anything smaller than 5g I believe there should be no other animals than the betta. 10g is the best imo because there is enough space for the betta and u can also add a couple of...
