thanks for the reply, I will contact the pet store where i got him because so far it seems like his behavior is getting worse so hopefully they can take him back. The angelfish is my favorite and he is not doing well with the gourami although he is awesome looking.

i recently added a gold gourami to my 20 gallon tank, i have 4 neon tetras 5 platties a peppered cat fish, 1 fancy guppy and 1 angelfish. At first the gourami was shy but then he started nipping at the angelfish's fin damaging it, and causing the angelfish to become very shy. I just got back...

I tested the water last night and it was perfect. I have 4 neon tetras 5 plattys one angel one cat fish and a guppie. the gourami is looking worse, barely moving and just sitting at the bottom.

i have a 20 gallon tank and about two weeks ago i noticed my gourami had sores so i treated him with melaflix and the sores went away and i also added some salt to the tank but since yesterday he's been at the bottom and he's not eating. please help
