Thats correct its 4 ft and ive worked it out to be 190 litres. Im trying my best to read through everything on the internet but the information seems to either contradict eachother or just doesnt help! Guess the best thing to do is find fish i like and ask on here if they are going to be ok.

I have just purchased a second hand fluval 204 external filter for my tank, its been used for marine fish and im gonna keep cichlids, what do i need to do with the filter before i use it? Is it ok just to clean it up and use it or do i need to replace all the internals?
I used salt water and got most of it off then a bit of white vinigar for the rest, worked a treat, given up a good wash and dry so there will be nothing in there now. Cheers 4 the advice, Next thing is cleaning a second hand Fluval 204 external filter?
