🐠 TOTM VOTE NOW: February 2025 Tank of the Month Contest (31 Gallons and larger)

This is my 330l tank, with a Fluval 407 filter. The fluval T300 heater is set at 24 degrees c. A wave maker and protein skimmer keep the water moving and 2 Fluval plant 3.0 LED light bars provide the lighting. The tank is planted with a variety of different plants, none of which I know the names...

    Possible fin rot?!?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. My tank is a FluvalSmart sienna 332. It measures 110x55x55 and has been set up for about 6 months, although it was seeded with the gravel and wood from my last tank which developed a leak. The filter is a FluvalSmart 07 series which came with the tank. I don’t...

    Possible fin rot?!?

One of my kribensis has a pretty fatty tail fin. When I bought him recently, he had a small piece missing which I thought was due to fighting. I’ve recently noticed that it’s getting worse and I’m worried it might be fin rot. Can anybody tell from the photo what the issue is? Thanks in advance

    Mixed gourami

Yeah, the black neon is the last of a group from my first tank, years ago. He seems to live forever! I was thinking of adding more rummy nose, but hadn’t thought about more cories. I thought 6 was enough. If I add all of those, won’t I be pretty heavily stocked? My tank is quite a way from a...

    Mixed gourami

Hi there, Thanks for the welcome. I’ve got 10 rummy nose tetras, 6 zebra danios, 6 albino corys, 2 platys, 1 bristlenose plec and 1 black neon tetra in the tank. It has a slight current, but there are calm spots with fake floating plants. It’s very similar to what I had in my old tank (180l)...

    Mixed gourami

Thanks. I’m glad, because at the moment they seem to be buddying up. Would be a shame to split them.

Edit: so far they seem to quite like each others company.

    Mixed gourami

Hi everyone. I’ve been keeping tropical fish for about 10 years, but in no way consider myself an expert. This is my first time posting so please be gentle. I went to my LFS today to buy a Pearl gourami as a centre price for my 270l aquarium. My partner chose the fish she wanted and as the...
