Please take some responsibility for your mistake and stop making up stories. If pineconing happens overnight without prior warning then why the hell are they selling Maracyn2 to treat dropsy??? Can you grasp that concept??? Why don't you just go out and buy another "prettier" one and be done...

I'm sorry but the logic is not getting through to you. If Maracyn2 treats dropsy and gram negative bacteria then that bacteria is what's causing the dropsy. If that bacteria is causing dropsy then it's a pathogen. Does that compute? Nobody cares about stupid "good" bacteria in this scenario so...

How many bettas have died in your care from disease/sickness? I've never had any betta die from illness. BTW a disease is any illness caused by a pathogen. Bacteria IS a pathogen.

If you can't cure dropsy then why does Maracyn2 list dropsy as one of the diseases that the medication is used for on the label? When people get cancer does the doctor recommend they be killed because there is no cure? Maybe you should contact some LFS and see if they have any medication that...

Bettas should be kept in 2 gallons and up. Bare minimum is 1 gallon but they won't be able to swim far without having to turn around. From my experience bettas that are allowed to swim a lot seem to be healthier. Bettas that are kept in small containers normally just sulk or swim very little.

Why not use Maracyn2? Killing your betta is not a cure.

Well if you're feeling adventurous you can create one of these. It's "only" 2 gallons but it's planted, heated, filtered. :hyper:

If it's 7.5 US gallons then the pricing is on par or slightly more expensive than US prices which is undertandable.
