My firemouths dig constantly. The big one dug a hole under the amazon and bogwood right down to the glass. The smaller one was digging and rubbing itself into the sand yesterday evening while the big one expanded its burrow. I have had them for nearly a year and there has been no breeding...

My rainbows have stopped eating all food I give them and only eat the plants (sword and hygro). This is strange because they used to eat food very well.

My Firemouths pretty much leave my Rams alone. They have been in the tank for nine months now - the FMs since they were juvi's - and while there was some food competition at first everything has settled out nicely. Now if only the FMs would leave my Rainbows alone...

My male Bolivian Ram is also doing this in the substrate whenever the female comes near. Funny thing is there is no breeding rock near. I saw them doing this a couple weeks ago but no eggs resulted.

I have had my Bolivian Rams breed, however I do not intentionally breed them. Maybe there is something I can help you with.

Imagine my surprise yesterday evening when I saw a new cluster of eggs on a smooth flat rock in a different part of my tank. Different because previously my mated ram pair laid their eggs at the opposite end of the tank on a different flat rock. And surprise because this wasn't my mated pair...

Okay I took some water out and it does look like there is a pale green tinge to it. What is the best way to clear this up? Complete darkness for a couple of days? My lighting schedule right now is 5 on, 2 off then 5 on.

Ammonia and nitrite readings are both zero. I am pretty sure the water is not green, although if you look in the tank from the end it looks green because of the huge sword. Stocking is light right now. I have 15 rummys, 6 julii corys, two skirt tetras, two flying foxes, a CAE and a bamboo...

Nevermind, Frank's dead. I guess no one patrols this thread. Anyway, looks like Frank must have run into a rock in the dark or something. Eventually the white spot went away but so did Frank's lips. In the end he couldn't eat and died. RIP Frank.
