    Help identify mystery fish?

Lol. Imagine a Bass and I'd put it in the main pond. Would become huge and start eating everything lol

    Help identify mystery fish?

I see, two months is crazy if it's been in there this whole time and survived. I'm contemplating leaving it in there for now in the separate deck pond as it seems to be thriving well. Moreover, I don't want to risk putting it in the main pond as from what I know, it's from an unknown source...

    Help identify mystery fish?

We don’t get cyclones in the UK. We often get 50mph winds, but the most damage they do is lift a bin a couple of feet, lol. My parents don’t have the energy to catch fish and drop them in from the main pond. There are children next door who recently moved in, but I can’t imagine them giving...

Huh. Wild goldfish. How in the world could it have gotten in there? egg hitchhiked on a bathing bird, perhaps?

    Help identify mystery fish?

See attached: This is probably going to sound baffling and made up. I have a deck pond dedicated to any future Ill fish that I will isolate and treat separately. It doubles up as a water feature when not in use. See below: Here's the thing. I have personally never put fish in here and...

    Breeding baby brine shrimp

I see. No, I want something for adult fish. What do you recommend? As of this moment, I’ve been using mosquito larvae from the water garden but winter will be here soon. It’s why I thought about brine shrimp.

    Breeding baby brine shrimp

I’ve had a brief read. So, to see if I understand well enough. To grow rotifier, I could leave some tap water outside in a bottle to become green and then put that water in a tank that has a small bubbly filter. 1. Could I use a pre-installed internal filter if I cover the holes with a fine...

    Breeding baby brine shrimp

Whatever is the simplest to do, I’ll do. Especially, if it means I don’t have to mess around with salt water. Although, aren’t copepods saltwater and harmful to fish?

    Breeding baby brine shrimp

Hi people, I'm contemplating about using a spare tank that I have to breed brine shrimp to feed my tropical fish. I'm based in the U.K. I know that you can use cone shaped bottles but I'm not sure if that would be suitable for long term breeding. My question is, would it be cost worthy to...

    Colour change or something sinister?

Okay, great. Makes him a lot uglier than before lol. He's the only one turning that colour. I wonder if it's parent's genes weren't that strong.

    Colour change or something sinister?

I believe the black on the koi is just a colour change as it’s happening slowly and the koi is eating and behaving fine. However, just to be certain, I’d like other people’s opinions. I have looked online at possible diseases and none look like this.
