The fish are not acting strangely at all. If I take the rock out should I do a partial water change or just let it ride for awhile I don't want to stress the remaining fish any more than I have.

Yes chlorine tested nil the fish aren't gasping. The rock I put in was lace rock, onyx, zebra rock, and some jasper that was all purchased from the fish store that I've been going to for years.

I checked the ph and it's 7.2 and the rock was rinsed in water that I bought at the fish store which is also where I get water for the aquariums.
