Hi all,
Thanks for all the recommendations- didn't get it today but am going tomorrow- tank seems to have settled and my son bought me 2 dwarf gouramis and 6 neon tetras to cheer me up ^_^ . Could cry seeing them all swimming about happily this evening, hopefully the drama is done for now...
I don't think they do but my heater is playing up- it is inside the filter cartridge with a dial at the top to adjust it. The dial is set at 16 degrees but the thermometer is showing the tank temp at 26 degrees. I am going to get a new heater today!!
Hi all,
Have had a terrible disaster. Did my water change yesterday and all was well. Went out for the evening last night and when I got home had lost 13 of my 18 fish! I must have caught the heater stat when changing the water and when I got home the water was 39 degrees. I got all the dead...
Hiya
Can anyone tell me what to do- I have 3 barbs in my tank since Saturday and all was fine until today when 2 have now got nipped tails- 1 is worse than the other with both top and bottom nipped while the other just has a small nip on the bottom of the tail.
Its a 120 litre tank and its...
Thanks.
Will have to try and find her a new home then- its a shame cos she is really beautiful but don't want to keep her in there if she is going to suffer.
If anyone lives nr Norwich and wants a gorgeous female red tailed shark then get in touch!!!!!
Debbie
Should have prob been a bit clearer- can I put a fighter fish in? My hubby really wants one but I know the shark is territorial, would it be a problem? Would also like a group of neons (6/8). would that be my limit?
Hiya.
I've taken on a 60 litre tank today along with 2 glo lights, 2 black neon tetra's and a red tailed shark. What if anything can I add? I've never had a small tank before( my last one was 180 litres) and don't want to overstock.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Debbie
