Was thinking of getting a bottom feeder sort of fish to help keep tank clean I have an 84l tank with 3glow light tetras 2 cherry barbs 2 platys what would go well with the fish I have and not take up to much room as want to add a few more fish thanks

not sure not to keen on tasteing it

my tank is a week in to its cycle but today i noticed a white cotton like fungus on the gravel there are no fish in the tank anyone have any clues as to what this could be?

yeh it is the same as the one on the end. will move it lower in the tank see what happens been getting a lot of Condensation in lid and on the sides of tank dont no if this is a factor in it as the bubbles are around the edge

yeh i cm i the size the filter is a rena filstar 13-14 in a 84l tank

opps i mean 1 cm watched the tank for a bit and seems the bubbles are coming from the filter should i turn it down as it is making alot of water movement but was told u have to have the surface water rippling

i had all the wee bubbles on saturday when i filled the tank they was gone over night this ones are 10 cm in size and seem to be just in one corner on the top of the water and a few around the edge

ok thanks will they just go away over time as some of the bubbles are big could it be my filter is turned up to high or need pushed down the tank abit

ok i set up a new tank on saturday had a look at it this morning to find all around the edges and one corner are full of bubbles is this normal

Yeh as it was a shrimp wouldn't take them long to eat it would think it would of been dead first

Ok thank u have took everything out the tank had a look and nothing As I am new to this didn't know what had happend one day it was swimming around happy next morning gone

Looked in filter it was about the same size as the fish if it had died would they then eat it as they havnt bothered the small one that is still there

Anyone have any advice if the fish could have eaten it

went to do a water change to day a one of my shrimps has gone no where to be seen could it jump out the tank or would one of the othere fish eat it i have cherry barbs and platys in with them
