Hi im worried about my pregnent platy i moved her to a 10gal cycled tank of her own but all she does is sit on the bottom. She is very big but like i say just sits there is this normal.

It's the trap your talking about and its not that big dont think i will put her through any stress and keep her in the tank. Maybe i will see the fry and rescue them

Hi i got a new platy today from a mate who is getting shut of his tank the platy is very fat i dont want to put her in a breeding trap i think she has been stressed enough today. If i leave her in my tank will the fry survive i have alot of plants in my tank or do you suggest a trap please help. Daz

Hi thanks for the reply it just looks like a lot of fish in my tank. They all stay at the front but my tank is quite heavily planted At the back is this ok.
