Yep, i've got one too...the 64lt version.
Looks a bit better than my older flat glass tank as well :good:
I've had mine around 7 months & still using the interpet heater, but i find you have to keep an eye on the pump as the water flow slows down a wee bit & needs a rinse out every other week.
Hi folks,
Does anyone else get different readings from different test kits ?
I have been using a Nutrafin test kit since i started this tank up & the readings seemed to be ok, keeping nice & steady.
Last week, i got the problem with that red rock ornament sending the PH low, so i got that all...
I'd still have kept a hold of the foams out the pump & thrown them into the pail as well.
If they actually looked for them, you could've just pleaded ignorance. ...... foams, what foams ?
Tried to buy some Baking soda today at the local shop, they don't stock it.
I'll get to my LFS in the morning & see if i can get some crushed shell or coral.
The PH has tested neutral today on 3 seperate tests, so it looks like the rock has been the problem after all.
Thanks to everyone for...

The PH is now 7.5, which i'm more than happy with.
I even tested the water in the bucket where the rock was placed & it's reading 5.5.
Needless to say, the rock is gonna be placed in the...
I'll add some baking powder if thats the same thing.
No, no bogwood, just that offending rock thing.
Weird tho, it only dropped during the 12hrs between tests today & not before.
Fish are still looking happy strangely enough
I've done a search for this problem, but can't find an answer to my problem.
My tank is cycled & i've slowly added fish over the past few weeks.
I kinda obsessive about my water quality, so test 2-3 times a day without fail.
Trouble is, my PH has gone through the roof. Ever since i started...
Hi everyone
Just thought i'd better get the first post out of the way......
I've just started keeping tropicals after a long break, recently bought an new 65lt tank & some Platys which seem to be doing well. (Used to keep coldwater fish 20+ years ago)
There's plenty of topics to read up on in...
