Hi folks, not sure if this is in the right section, I was in tescos the other night with my girlfriend and i saw bags of playsand and they are really cheap compared to the sand the LFS sell, is it possible to use it for a planted aquarium and how hard is it to clean, will the syphon just suck it...

have u tried asking crosvenor tropicals in lisburn? ring them on 028 9263 4333 or theres exotic aquatics up the castlereagh road in belfast 028 9079 0006, exotic aquatics are very helpfull and are easy to chat to, they will also take ur fish if u want them rehomed

hi, yes unfortunately i am going to have to re-home a few of them very soon, the 2 balas are both around 6 inches and the pang isnt far off, the angel is also starting to get very tall, maybe just talk my folks in to letting me get another aquarium for the living room haha
