I've been battling ich in my community tank for the last few days. The only fish in my tank showing any signs are my rummy nose tetras. The rest of the inhabitants, Panda Corys, Lambchop Rasboras, and a clown pleco seem fine. Everybody is eating fine, and I switched to flakes and pellets infused...
Are my mystery snails doing what I think they're doing? Or is this something I should be concerned about? I've never seen my blue mystery snail so far out of his shell...
I noticed these in my tank this morning. I don't think they are nerite eggs (I have a bunch of those adorning my driftwood), could they be rasbora eggs? I serendipitously found a rasbora fry a few weeks back who's been growing up quite nicely, but I've never caught my fish in the act or seen...
I'm sure I do if I take a walk back through the woods I can find some. Would the tannins from the driftwood also help? Or is it specifically something from the oak/indian almond leaves?
Okay, I'll start with the water changes today and remove my Purigen/find some Indian almond leaves. Would Melafix/Pimafix suffice until I track down the Indian Almond Leaves?
