Firefox not working well lately here

Does anybody out there still use Win 7 ?? For latest programs I use Linux, otherwise I still use the older versions on win7. Trouble-free.

    Breeding/fry setup

Thanks Colin. I stand corrected. As you say fertile hybrids should not be part of our hobby, blurs the picture doesn't? A rethink is in order.

    Breeding/fry setup

Theoretically that is true. When I first bred that hybrid, I got quite excited, thought I was on to something great. When breeding them failed, I started considering all the differences. One from New Guinea and one from Australia, from very different habitats, and displaying different behaviours...

    Breeding/fry setup

Hi. Your post caught my eye because I too set up a window tank to breed egg scatters. Living in Australia I naturally chose local Rainbows, my first love. The reason for my post is because I used an entirely different method that you might consider. My first consideration was, what food will...

Malaysian trumpet snails - the aquatic plough?

With no natural predators, they will always become a pest. A snail eating fish is a good investment. I use clown loaches to do the job,but they grow too big for smaller tanks.

Bristlenose Plec + Red Tail Black Shark

A note on Red Tail Black Sharks. The ones available in Australia grow to 4 -6 inches and when added to an established tank settle in very well. Just never add another shark though, they will fight to the death. Hope it all goes well.

I just bought a 200 gallon and a 300 gallon tank for just $100. Suggestions on stocking.

Love Bala sharks. Not exactly common in FishForums.

Fish dissappearing? (Yoyo loaches or BN plec culprits?)

When I had a similar problem, the cause came as a big surprise. The tank in question housed three large loaches, was located in the lounge where I was sitting watching TV. My lighting system is on a timer which turns it off at 8 pm. In the dim room light the behavour of the loaches changed, they...
