Hello, I currently have two aquaclear 20 filters on my second tank at the ends but the middle of the tank has no water movement. I want to create a small current for the zebra danios I will be getting. Would this be ok for them?

My tank just got done with it's fishless cycle. I want a pretty low maintenance tank and was thinking about getting 10-12 zebra Danios and 10 ghost shrimp. I'm currently running a Oase 100 FiltoSmart Filter and a Aquaclear 20. My questions are, are Danios or the ghost shrimp messy at all?
