Patience is a virtue! TBH i'm finding his bit quite exciting, waiting for the drop, at least once it dont i can feel proud of the achievement. And the best thing; my fish will start there new lives in the best living conditions possible for them!!

Daily update: Ammonia 3 still PH 7.2 No change but its early days yet!!

Just tested; Ammonia 3 So i'll leave the Ammonia alone until it drops below 1 and just monitor the Ph to make sure it says high enough. Checked but didnt have a KH test, but next time i'm out will pick one up. Got a feeling the water is quite hard here though (comes out the tap quite cloudy)...

Thanks for that FHM. I had already added some Ammonia as nobody had responded, but i didnt add a lot. Will test in an hour, i only added enough for it to reach around 3 anyway. Erring on the side of caution!! Sorry for being dim, whats KH is it Nitrate? Will test that as well in about an hour...

Many Thanks. Been looking at the cycling page, and it shows a load of places to get it. Will try Boots tomorrow, if not ive got a homebase near me as well so will go there. Thanks everyone, just got a testing kit...results to be posted shortly. Couldnt find any ammonia will need to find somewhere tomorrow. Have got some fish flakes to make do for now.
