    also have a look around your lfs for the queen arabesque pleco(L260)its a very nice colourful litle pleco, which stays small 90mm (3.6") this also is a good pleco in a comunity tank,but can be quite terrortorial,in my lfs they cost around £20/£25 :)

    Big pond

    hey,,,,we have done very simular to you,in the corner of our property,first of all we dug a small hole(6ft wide,6ft deep) and found the water table to be at 2.9ft.we left the hole for a couple of weeks,and found that the water level did not change that much.so now we have dug the new pond 45ft...

    thanx davy,my son had no choice but to get into fish,all his life he,s been helping me with the tanks,and now he has two tanks in his bedroom,its GREAT at the moment,im teaching him the wonders of fishkeeping,and he,s teaching me how to use the pc and the internet,fair swap dont tou think :D

    most of the peckoltia side of the pleco family stay small (below 5") also try searching some of the catfish sites on the web! you will be amazed just how many different pleco there are,the L seems to grow weekly! :grin:
