How about having a hinged lid and fasten the lights to that? have tryed about suspending lights over the tank it lit the whole room up and not much of the tank!

A pic of my 130l tank like i said not the best in the world couldnt get the fish to keep still. all plants are plastic and put in yesterday, my local pet shop had them on by 2 get 1 free, :kana: the rocks and caves are made of froken slate floor tiles, free from a local tiling depot :D

I have had a fluval 104 running for nearly 12months, has bin exelent no troubles at all and my water changes have gone from once a week to every two weeks :thumbs: [I]ps i am running a 130l tank so should be no bother for you

What are the advantages or disadvantages of using co2? and has any one got a link to somewhere with more info/how to set up site's thanks paul

just a quick one to say hello. Have kept fish for years both cold water and tropical started out small (well a 9ft 200g tank ) now running a set up about half that size

I have managed to keep a plec in cold water without any problems in the past

Am thinking of keeping pirahnas, but am a bit squeemish over feeding them. is there any such thing as a vegitarian pirahana?
