i rinsed them pretty quickly...should i just leave the tank and wait for it to clear out or just clean it out?

I just set up a 10 gallon tank and when I put the water in it was really cloudy and I only had gravel and a piece of driftwood in there (the person at the fishstore seaid i wouldnt have to soak it in water and it wouldnt cloud the water). The water is cearing up but slowly, do I have to worry...

Oh and I also noticed that if they chase thier reflection a lot (like all the time) their fins start to get chewed at.

My betta's started doing it when I started feeding them less(they had big bellies), but since I started feeding them normally again they stopped.

I just thought that maybe the iron wood is to big for the tank. It's a 2.5 and it takes up about a fourth of the tank. Is that to big?
