Personally I like the Red Sea brand. They are more expensive but the colour results differentiation is better in my view.

I have 2 Fluval 205s. One for my 125L tropical and the other for my 90L marine. Highly recommended. Very quiet, good prices if you shop about and lots of media choice. Comes with a good manual and instructional DVD.

My first better didnt eat for a few days. All my bettas have been partial to Tetra Betta and wont eat normal flake.

As has been said Assasin snails should help. I had an issue with a small planted tank and some eggs must have come in on the plants. I added a pair of assasins and they, along with some manual cleaning, have gone some way to sorting the issues. Assasins are pretty and interesting to watch to!

Hi all Im new to the forum but not the hobby. I have 3 tanks; a 125 litre Tropical community, a 90 litre Marine community and a 35 litre Betta tank along with 2 outdoor ponds. The family also have some tanks to. Fish crazy! Cant wait to join in the discussions.
