I must be a very very small cog, when I email Sicce asking where can I buy the spare o ring, they can't be bothered to answer me, but I was good enough to buy their filter.

This is the second day all is good nitrite nil. Why would I need to keep dosing with prime and stability. Anyway thanks for your reply.

Thanks for the help, fingers crossed, test today ammonia nil, Nitrite nil. I could be wrong, but there was a fair bit of ceramics media from the old filter added, or maybe the two 50% water changes and dosing daily with Prime and Stability helped.

My hose kinks terrible, but was recently told in my fish store, to put boiling water through it regularly and this helps so I did it, looked better, but not using it till a few days, so will see if it helps, wish I could get a kink free hose that did not kink and stayed flat.

Because I'm battling with blackbeard algae my Vallisneria is not growing and I'm getting a lot of brown leaves which I have to cut off, although I'm doing the right things, as you know it's difficult to beat, but I suppose there is no fertiliser that would be better?

As above its mind boggling the amount of fertilisers for sale im looking for a recommended really good liquid fertiliser.
