Thanks to everyone who helped, and put up with my daft questions, it's maybe an age thing, I thought there's no point of the Fluval 45 litre mini filter sitting in a cupboard so I've set it up, and I'm happy with it, I do have a hospital tank so it will be handy, I did fancy a wavemaker, but...

Would a wave maker be good and if yes with my 200 litre tank plus my oase filter, what size wavemaker would be good, maybe a daft question but I have no knowledge of wavemakers.

I have a spare fluval mini interior filter one sitting doing nothing, I read someone using it for the same purpose he removed the media material and just run it to add more flow, would this help.it is for a 45 litre tank about 10 gallons

My sparkling Gourami, I've had him for about 8 months, he is in a 70 litre tank with Celestial pearl danios and Ember Tetras, no other species of fish, he used to swim freely in the tank, and always was about at feeding time. But for the last month, he is permanently behind the outlet tube...

I suppose its different when you have a prefilter with sponges being the fist contact, as looking at the drawing, you would think the blue sponges would be at the bottom then the three trays of ceramic media, then the finer sponge on top, but anyway I suppose Oase experts will know what's best.

Looking for a wee bit of advice, I did jump and bought the oase biomaster filter, along with the prefilter it has 5 trays, I did change them round, on the bottom tray I halved the 20 ppi blue sponge and sat the red 30 ppi on top, the next 3 trays are biohome media and the last top tray is...

There's something wrong with the Swiss tropical site, you go on it. And nothing comes up, I was interested in his sponge, cuttings that says you can use in a canister filter. Tried to Google ebay but nothing came up.

Hi, I did a search on here on the above subject, there's a few discussions, on this site, but not many, on the subject , he really slams into biohome and matrix, more or less stating they are absolutely usless. My two canisters filters have both this media in them, have I made a big mistake...

The filter comes with 5 decent trays, enough to hold plenty of media,

The biomasters come with a plug which enables you to have no heater in the filter, I run my filters on a inkspot, good bit of kit.
