Are they 3 boys and 3 girls? Normally they do all shoal at the start then as they get comfortable they split up a bit. Mine all still shoal probably 50% of the time. (And the other 50% of the time, they hide)

The tests dont work like that, hence my question, no colour charts. They say count the number of drops until the colour changes, then look up the chart.

If you have a good mix of guys and girls in the tank, and you look after it well and feed them to full satisfaction, you wont need to buy more, they will very likely make babies (: If you have lots of plants and java moss for the babies to hide in you will probably end up with a new few babies...

I know this is not what your looking for, but I think good tank mates for corys are more cories (they are great, I have like 60 cories at the moment, although the sterbais are working hard to increase that number by 5-10 cories every day... hehe).

I have juliis and adolfoi in a tank at 26.5c, and they are all very happy, The julis (trilineatuses) are happier than the adolfoi, swiming up and down all over the place, all day every day, for months now. (The adolfoi are more tame)

I definitely agree when it comes some other species (tend to group together when you first get them, then slowly as they get used to the tank they split up and ungroup more)... However with my cories (i have 8 species) the biggest split I see is a group of 4 splitting in about half...
