Hi Chaps, This is my plec. I was sold him as a "Royal Plec" that won't grow more than a few inches (i.e. 3-4" long). Is this correct? If not what is he and how big will he grow? He is in my Aquaone 620T tank. Cheers, CG

When I've had to do it I have got some cold tap water in a jug, addedd a load of ice cubes and salt to cool the water down to a really low temp then put the fish in it. Seemed to be fairly quick and painless. I don't think there is a good way. Anyway is unpleasant, some worse than others.
