Is swim bladder something she can live with?
I put her in her new tank and she LOVES it. Been swimming around ever since and hasn't really stopped, so I'm not sure if she'll float sideways or not again. Hopefully I can tell once she settles down a bit.
She did eat two of her pellets, spit them...
I was at Walmart tonight and decided to stop in the fish section. Bad idea. Right away I found a little female that was floating at the top of her cup. I thought she was dead, so I poked the cup to be sure and she started swimming around.
When she stopped swimming she would float to the top of...
Yep, it's me again, seems like new questions just keep popping up.
I'm currently feeding my new guy "Aqua Culture" Betta pellet food. About 6 pellets a day as per the instructions on the bottle. Is this a good brand or is there something better?
He has a very dull color, like a dingy off...

Well he's in his tank and so far so good. He seems pretty happy with the new diggs and he LOVES the cat. She came up to sleep next to the tank, her fur smooshed against it and he is spending all his time right next to her leaning against the glass. She has been ignoring him.
And now...I'm...
Thanks for the reply. He is in a 1 gallon tank with a lid so the cats can't scoop him out. He's still in his little cup right now waiting for the water in the tank to get to room temperature.
That makes me remember another question, is it okay to use a fish net to place him in the tank? or will...
Hi everyone! I just got a male Betta from Walmart. I felt sorry for him in that little cup all the way in the back and couldn't just leave him, so now I have a desk fish even though I wasn't planning on it.
He is white in color and I was wondering if that is a normal or if he'll gain a little...
