    food for angelfish?

I've had great success with Tetra Jumbomin large sticks. I crush them for smaller fish, their easy to break up in your fingers. I also feed a treat meal each night usually frozen thawn adult brine shrimp. Sometimes I mix a portion of freeze dried bloodworm in with the brine shrimp as they thaw...

Yes I have read all those, but my personal experience is quite different. I have been using the mix I described in are 200 gal pond for over 3 years with out a single fish loss. This includes some 100% water changes during the hot summer months. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

Yes but you don't need them if your using the bottle up every few weeks. Their prime may sit on a shelf for a year before being sold so they add them. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

Again the 500ml of Prime treats 5000 gallons 4tsp of safe treats 4800 (close enough to 5000) That's why you need all 4 tsp of safe in the bottle. They both treat 5000 gallons You dose the mixture the same as using Prime - 1 capfull for 50 gallons Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

You seem to be missing we are treating 5000 gallons not 300 So 1 tsp is not 4x the recommended dosage. 1 tsp is treating 1200 gallons Again we want to treat 5000 gallons per prime bottle so 4 x 1200 is 4800 gallons Just a little weaker than Prime Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

Safe dosage is 1/4 = 300 So it takes 10 x 1/4 for 3000 gallons Or 16.6 x1/4 for 5000 gallons Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

Already did that did you look at the math? I never figured the prime dosage Just how much a bottle treats 500ml =5000gal Divide by 300 which is 1/4 tsp safe Comes to 16.66 Divide that by 1/4 = Teaspoons needed to treat 5000 gallons Or 4.1 Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

A 500ml Bottle of prime treats 5000 gallons 5000/ 300 = 16.66 16.6 x .25 = 4.1 tsp .25 = 1/4 tsp From amazon.com A single 100 mL bottle will treat 1000 US gallons of tap water. Prime will remove both chloramines from municipal water supplies. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk

I'm still using the bottle I mixed a couple months ago (4 tsp to the 500ml prime bottle) with no I'll effects. Maybe I should consider making a new batch. I can understand Seachem not recommending it. But as fast as your going through a bottle I see no harm in it. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010...

Well I believe one $10 bottle of Seachem Safe is equal to about 100 bottle's of prime. If I were using that much Prime I would consider switching to Safe. You can reuse your 500 ml prime bottle's by adding just 4 teaspoons of Safe to a mostly full bottle of tap water. Safe is the dry version...

    That one species of fish!!

I second those. The Festivum is a long time favorite. Not seen them in the hobbie in some time. And the Blue Gularis is like a puppy dog, very personable and a joy to own and breed. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk
