i have recently added some plants to the aquarium and so far i only hav a few java ferns and wondered what other plants would go well with them and look godd as well as been reasonably hardy. the tank is 54 litre 1 honey gourami 4 black widod tetra 2 black neon tetra 2 platys 1 pearl danio 2...

i would say that honey gourami have to be easier i hav kept both and had far few problems with them, i dnt now if there is any truth in this but i certainly noticed a difference when i adding living plants, had lots of problems with gouramis until i added live plants, now they seem much happier...

i suggest a honey gourami, not to hard to keep and will suit your tank :kana:

just wondered what the best rocks were for decorating the aquarium? and what u hav to do to them before u can put them in, meaning wot treatmeant? i know u can use slate so can u use any slate u have or shud it be bought from an aquatic shop? thnx :S

yeah i mean when i bought my current tank it looked big to me and i thought there is no way i could want any larger amd it was a reasonable deal, around £100 with all the equipment with it but now i realise just how big an aquarium u really need but at present i dnt even have space this may...

rite ok thnx ppl i need a bigger tank at some point, but they so damn expensive for a large one and to be hoonest im a student and cant afford it

do u really think the tank aint big enough for the danios? it ain a bda size and i know they active but they aint exactly large fish
