    Yes I did look at it I understood it to basically say it would be from nitrites or ammonia and I haven't had a problem with either of those... They are zebra and kuhlli loaches I am at a loss... guess I will set up a seperate tank and hope it is due to stress.... Do you have any other ideas...

    OK here are my stats... Ph 7.2 -7.6 color somewhere in between Nitrite 0 Nitrate 0-5 somewhere in between closer to 5 tho Ammonia 0 So I know it isn't ammonia burn... Also I didn't even think of this before until I was reading online but the guppy I said may have it too has split tail...

    I looked at the disease page( great resource thanks!) and I would say it is more like black patches or fungus... that was after a quick look. I also have a guppy that looks like it may have the same thing( have had her for about a month) I can't tell if it is her coloring or the same thing...

    What Would You Do?

    What about adding some bottom dwellers? i love my loaches they are quite funny but be sure you don't get the ones that get too larg like clown loaches!
