Hey im not sure on the sex but i have a few red zebra's and male or female they should be able to defend themselves in a community tank how big/old is he/she?
I have recently started a Malawi tank,
Looking at the picture of your tank is mind blowing i really like the way you have built up your rocks creating caves and hiding spots:).
I currently have, 2 electric yellows(yellow labs) 4 maingano's, 4 red zebra's and 2 blue dolphin's.

I really love the way you have setup this tank, im in the process of setting up a tank for maingano's electric yellows ellectric blues and a goldspot jibby this has inspired me to use MORE ROCKS!
Thanks for uploading pics of this quality tank :good:
yeah thats the best bet treat your whole tank to prevent a break out and leave her in a smaller established tank just like SJM has stated hope for the best :good:
remove any carbon in your filter( if you have any ) treat your whole tank with a multi cure additive wich will treat white spot fungus and any other diseases that would be best. :good:

i have been breeding my guppies for several months now and have had many batches of fry,
im not sure about death but stress is very normal, especially during pregnancy introducing them into a new tank.
Sometimes stress effects her having birth and they are known to abbort their pregnancy...
