its a shame really some of mine look horrible when like it especially the black plecos they go a horrid gray.

as has been said totally normal alot of mine do it then some days there back normal colour depends were they are in the tank

yes you will need lots more or and lots more hiding places or the aggression will be bad

If your tank is heavily planted I would leave it on on a night plants take in oxygen at night and produce it during day so if your tank has lots of plants they could take in the majority of the oxygen at night and not leave enough for the fish

if he was bent its lack of food they bend when there starving sturgeon do the same thing must be a thing with armored fish.
