OK I went to the house Yesterday and I did the Plant Dip to kill all the algae ,,, seemed to have worked Ill know when i go there today to feed them how it turned out , And did the water change and scrubbed the tank really well. I have never checked the ph And know a tiny bit about it...

Rdd Thanks for your help Yes it is the way we heat (by choice) and the room does get very warm i will definetly try to keep it as far away as possible. But the gasses released as well is as concern Thanks Cheriberry
