Hey, I just finished the treatment for white spot and it is all gone! One 1 black neon castalty...
I had to take out my carbon filter so I put it in a clean, sealed plastic bag.
Now the treatment is over I was wondering if I should put it back in...
What do you guys think??? :good:
I reckon I will skip the salt. I have raised the temperature to 30 degrees.
White spot is so annoying! It appears to be going away, but looks can be decieving :crazy:

I put in another half dosage and turned the temperature to 30 Degrees.
One of my neons has suffered casualty. BUT, They seem to be going better. and My upside down catfish is now at the other side of the tank, so that is a good sign

I have plenty of aeration and the tank is at a temperature of 28 C(81 F)

The silver scrape is completeley gone and his pectorial fin is almost totaly back to normal.
Although his dorsal fin is stuck together and looks not so nice...
But I guess the mucous will go away after a few days the it wore off on his fin.

2 days or so I noticed a little silver scrape across the side of his body, bareley noticable. Do you thing this excess mucous could just be the healing process of this little scrape? What should to do to help speed up this process and do you guys thing aquarintine tank would be an appropriate...

But If more mucus was forming wouldn't it mean that both sides would be mucousy. There is only white stuff on one side of its body...
