Hi again folks. Been on loads of web pages and the closest I have come up with is a Stonefly. It looks something like it but not sure what we have in the UK that is like this.

Hi, Been trying to take a pic of it but No good. Camera lens not strong enough just coming out blurred if to close and to small further away. Does anybody know of a web page with pictures of the type of insects it could be then I can have a look to identify it. Sorry.

Hi folks and thanks for all the help. It actually looks like a mini dragon fly. Just got a shock to see something like that in my tank and haven't a clue where it came from. As I said I fished it out straight away and put in a little container. Little blighter. Will see if I can get pic of it...

Hi, Thanks for the replies. My Ammonia is 0.20,Nitrite is 0.00 and nitrate is 20/25. The tank has been fine but in the last week I have had 2 or 3 death's and I hate that. Can you please advise on my reading i.e if I need to do anything. First time I have had a slight problem. Thanks Chazer
