Hi, I bought these from a tank labelled Molly fish but the more I look at them the more I think they are platy fish…could anyone please advise? Thanks.
Hi, was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is & if it’s harmful to my fish? I normally feed frozen food but tried live daphnia & wondered if this came in the bag with the daphnia? Luckily it is only in one of my isolation tanks & not my main tank as currently treating a fish for swim...
That sounds like a similar set up to me but I have definitely not had that many fry....the max I was able to save in one batch was 14...I think the rest must have got eaten...luckily I seperated off the other females some time ago before the males matured...as I have had no other fry/signs of...
Ok I will try & get a better photo tomorrow...I’m now swaying more towards them all being males & one of the young females had the fry before I moved them...but I’d rather be sure...

I thought that too about number 2 but when he/she is relaxed the fin does not fan out...do you think the spotted one is a male? Also would you have any idea how old the fry is in the pic...it doesn’t look ‘newborn’ to me...i moved some female fry out of this tank 2 weeks ago so I’m wondering if...
