Sounds like breeding behaviour, though if you have angels in the tank, any eggs will be eaten

I have hermits & cleaner shrimp & there are no problems, they ignore each other

I hope you'll be keeping the offspring & not letting them go to Lfs as interbreeding is not a good idea

Corys need to be with their own kind. If you have the space I'd get another few of each species, interbreeding is not good for the species

Get a small pestle & mortar & crush up flakes or pellets for them. Imo bought fry food is ok for the first few days, but after then they need more than that

Pygmy corys are great on sand, any cory loves sand. What temp is your tank at as galaxy rasboras like cooler temps than bettas, also what size is the tank ?

I recently got 6 for £20 from a local breeder, they are juveniles but a good size, about an inch & a half, tbh the postage costs on eBay put a lot of people off

In my experience nerite snails are poop machines, never seen a snail poop so much What is you're wanting a clean up crew to do? No fish or snail will eat poop, & if you're wanting something to clean up uneaten food, why not just cut back on feeding

Yes they do, but it takes time. Mine eat algae wafers & veggies such as courgette & broccoli

It's not the water, it's the amount of algae in the tank, on glass, plants etc Hope the remaining one pulls through & when your tank is mature you can get him or her some tank mates
