Probably can't keep him as I wanted a reef tank with smaller fish. I have a feeling if I kept it I would have no small fish but one very fat eel :lol: a friend of mine has a 600ish gallon reef with larger more aggressive fish, I may put it in there. Either way he is one hardy eel, surviving...
Do I just trim it and stick the top back in the gravel? Will the bottom portion grow another top? I love the look of really bushy cabomba! I only have around five stalks right now at about 12" in length.

I bred guppies as a kid but never had platties.. just started a 55g tank and have six (four females, two males). Lots of plants inc java moss and water sprite. Will they breed? Will they take over my tank?

I have a 55g tank with a 10g sump/hang on overflow. I have 4 x 65w compact florescent bulbs over it. Got flourite gravel with some lava rock. The lights will be on 11ish hours per day. I also am adding Flourish and Iron.
