Thank you I will keep him twisted tail and all. I've asked him nicely to hold still sto i can get the string that i think is wrapped around his tail but he is to busy chasing his buddy to comply. If he's happy who am i to judge. I guess we all get a little twisted from time to time anyway.

thanks for the quick responce. We got the tank from a friend and he came with it. The tail thing happend in a matter of two hours. He was fine when i came back up it had gotten twisted. I have a filter, i started doing more frequent water changes after i found out about cycling and ammonia...
